Ramona

Screen Shot 2016-01-17 at 3.56.50 PMRamona Quimby is a (fictional) little girl whose life is narrated in a series of  books. The first book, Beezus and Ramona, appeared in 1955. The final book, Ramona’s World, was published in 1999. This little girl is mainly characterized by her wild imagination that leads her to her small adventures, family issues, and friendship problems while she evolves through school. She  also has one big sister Beatrice whom she calls Beezus and towards the end of this series, she also has a baby sister, Roberta. One of Ramona’s best friends is Howie Kemp, the son of Ramona’s mom’s friend and after, she also has a new best friend, Daisy Kidd. At the beginning, she did not like Howie because he was one of those people who never gets excited. As you must have understood by now, Ramona gets excited very easily. I liked these books because Ramona’s character is very funny, and the people surrounding her are pretty entertaining! It is also quite interesting to see Ramona grow up and mature as the series evolves…
