Nancy Drew is a very intelligent young woman, whose passion is … solving mysteries ! She is an amateur detective, who has already solved many mysteries. Her mother died when Nancy was very young, so she lives with her father, who is a very nice man and allows her to pursue her passion. Often, she is helped in her adventures by her two closest friends, Bess Marvin (who is delicate and feminine) and George Fayne (who is a tomboy), who are cousins, and also, at times, by her boyfriend Ned Nickerson, a student at Emerson College.
I really liked this suspenseful series and I recommend it to mystery book fans. These books have entertained many generations (this fictional character first appeared in 1930!), but I still find them extremely entertaining!
