The Trials of Apollo is a book series about the greek mythological god, Apollo, who, following his unacceptable behaviour is condemned by Zeus to be a 16 year old human. Apollo will then have to complete a quest to regain his position as a god and recover his powers. The first book of this series is The Hidden Oracle and a second book is expected in May 2017 called The Dark Prophecy. I really loved this book series as it is linked with the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series. What I found interesting in this first book is that Rick Riordan (the author) has expanded Percy Jackson’s world a lot… Even the book series Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard happens in the same universe as Percy Jackson and The Olympians even though this series involves the Norse mythology! Of course a must-read for all Rick Riordan fans!
