Royals: West Coast Prep is a book series, written by the same author as Canterwood Crest, about a thirteen-year old girl, Fallon Black. She is a young girl who absolutely adores school supplies, and most of all pens. She attends a school called West Coast Preparatory. It is an extremely competitive and expensive Californian boarding school, where everyone is a horseback rider of a certain level. At her school, she is the star rider and no one can dethrone her. But another rider arrives at WCP and is about to take her place as the riding royalty: Grace Holt–her new stepsister… These books deal with riding, family issues and friendship are very interesting… However, if the books went more into depth regarding riding, the horses, the stables, the riding classes, the riding coach, etc, I would have appreciated these books more. I personally preferred Canterwood Crest. However, if you have read Canterwood Crest and you found all the riding details too tedious and exasperating, but you love teenage drama, then his series is just for you!
